High-Strength Concrete

High-strength concrete is typically recognized with 28-day cylinder compressive strengths greater than 6000 psi. High-strength concrete can resist loads that normal-strength concrete cannot. Design and production of this material requires special attention to quality control. The specific performance of high-strength concrete is typically more than needed in most residential situations. But through our practices, is routinely obtained with our conventional concrete.

Applications

High strength concrete is used in high-rise structures, columns, shear walls, foundations, bridges and roadway construction.
